We have delivery Indian, and we like to order it. A lot. Our eyes are always bigger than our stomachs, and we tend to get a lot of naan bread. There’s just nothing as good as fresh, hot naan! The “problem” is that it leaves a lot left over, and I was looking for something new to do with it – out came a naan pizza. I just used what I had on hand in the fridge and it came out well! It makes a great little personal pizza.
- Drizzle of olive oil
- 1 clove of garlic, crushed
- Freshly ground pepper
- Sprinkle of crushed red pepper flakes
- Shredded cheese of choice – I used parrano
- Veggies – I used spinach. I was about to add asparagus, but got lazy.
Preheat oven to 350. Drizzle olive oil onto naan bread. Add crushed garlic, a couple of twists of pepper, and a sprinkle of red pepper flakes. Use a brush to cover the whole naan bread. Top with cheese and veggies and bake for about 10 minutes, or until cheese melts and browns a bit. Cut into four slices and serve!
