So this cute idea was all over Pinterest when I went looking for Halloween party ideas. This may actually be my favorite thing we made for the party! Delicious and easy. I liked it so much that I made it for Opening Hunt this weekend! I found this on LOLFoodie, but you could definitely do this with any cheeseball you liked (or even make pimento cheese into a ball).

Cheesy Baked Spaghetti Squash
I’m becoming awfully fond of spaghetti squash…I don’t think we’ve encountered a recipe yet that we haven’t liked. This one was a winner for sure, and definitely satisfied my craving for some good old fashioned comfort food. I got this one from Skinnytaste, and spiced it up a bit…we loved it. The original recipe called for two squash, but that was too much for us. I did not cut the sauce for one squash, and it was still fine (but a smidge soupy). It was also ridiculously low calorie and made a ton, so there are plenty of leftovers for lunch.
Blue Cheese Bacon Dip
Not even remotely healthy, but very tasty dip for parties and get-togethers! I serve it with pita chips, crackers, and grapes. It’s one of my favorites. Although it specifies half and half in the recipe, I’ve used heavy cream with success when it’s been the only thing on hand. I believe this originally came from Cooking Light a couple of years ago.
Caprese Skewers
Fun, light appetizer for a party or picnic. Who doesn’t love food on a stick? 🙂
